Effingham, IL, November 16, 2021–Martin Barbre is stepping down as CEO at MyAgData® to pursue another opportunity in the Ag sustainability policy arena.
“We thank Martin for his time here and wish him much success in the future”, said Lee Strom, Board Chairman. “Our organization continues to bring innovation to customers in new and exciting areas of opportunity and Martin’s farmer-perspective has been valuable and appreciated.”
In the interim, company staff will assume the primary duties of Barbre as the Board works to locate his replacement.
Founded in 2012, we created MyAgData® to bridge the gap between the data created and used by farmers, and the data required for the USDA to administer Farm Programs, to enable crop insurance companies to support Federal crop insurance and private products, and for industry to support traceability and quality of a harvested crop.
We’re more than just acreage reporting, too: We bring value to carbon sequestration systems, identity preservation marketing systems, and other industries where data assimilation means new knowledge and value for customers and consumers alike.
