MyAgData Featured in Agweek

In an October 28, 2025 feature titled “Digital acreage reporting may be a time and money saver for farmers,” Agweek introduces MyAgData’s role in moving acreage reporting from paper maps and pens to precision-ag integrated digital systems. The article explains how this transition reduces reporting time, improves accuracy, and lowers costs for farmers.

We’re pleased to share that MyAgData was featured in Agweek in an article titled “Digital acreage reporting may be a time and money saver for farmers.” The piece highlights our work as the only USDA-approved vendor for digital acreage reporting and underscores how the shift to digital workflows is reshaping farm administration.

Here’s a key quote from the article:

“We have growers that joke about it, that I don’t have to write, take color crayons and write on my maps anymore. We’re digitizing that process so growers can use their precision ag data…”
— Catherine Clower, MyAgData, quoted in Agweek

The article points out several benefits:

  • Faster reporting by leveraging precision ag data and eliminating manual map drawing.
  • Cost savings: While the digital service has a fee, growers are paying only for planted acres rather than less-accurate legacy boundaries that may overstate acreage.
  • Accuracy improvements: Digital boundaries reduce overreporting and help maintain more accurate production history, which supports crop insurance eligibility.

We believe this coverage aligns perfectly with our mission: making reporting simpler, more accurate, and more efficient for growers, agents and service providers across the country.
