MyAgData and Pinion Partner to Bring Electronic Acreage Reporting to Agricultural Producers Nationwide

MyAgData, the only USDA-authorized third-party provider of electronic acreage reporting, today announced a reseller partnership with Pinion, a nationally recognized Top 70 accounting and food and agriculture advisory firm. Through this agreement, Pinion advisors will now offer MyAgData's digital acreage reporting solution directly to their agricultural clients — helping producers streamline FSA and RMA compliance while saving time and reducing costly errors.
The collaboration brings together two organizations deeply committed to supporting American agricultural producers. Pinion's advisors work with farmers and agricultural operations across the country- from tax strategy and risk management to farm program compliance – making electronic acreage reporting a natural extension of the guidance they already provide.
For producers, the benefit is straightforward: accurate, digital acreage reports submitted directly to the USDA – without paper maps, office visits, or the risk of manual errors. MyAgData leverages existing precision agriculture field data from platforms including John Deere, Case IH, Climate FieldView, and others to generate compliant FSA-578 submissions efficiently and securely.
"Growers deserve a modern, accurate way to meet their USDA obligations—one that keeps them in control of their own data, delivered through advisors they already trust. Extending that through Pinion's national network is exactly the kind of private-sector delivery that benefits producers and the agency alike."— Michelle Tressel, CEO, MyAgData
"This is the right time for growers to start making the transition," says Quint Shambaugh, land advisory lead at Pinion. "USDA's One Farmer, One File is moving the industry toward fully digital acreage reporting by 2028, when paperless reporting will become the standard. With MyAgData, those who start now can clean up boundaries, reduce reporting errors, and avoid a rushed transition later."
The partnership is effective immediately. Pinion clients interested in electronic acreage reporting can contact Doug Melvin, Pinion Ag Advisor, with any questions or to get started.
